Was macht MPC Rollen griffiger + schneller als andere Rollen

The Ring.
M-tech™ is the Patented ’soft heart, hard body’ technology that gives MPC wheels such a huge performance advantage… and a unique look.

Soft heart, Hard body is quite literally how the M-tech™ tire is constructed. The tire of an M-tech™ wheel is made up of a soft inner band (62A shore hardness in the most resilient material found in any wheel), beneath a highly-durable outer material (80+A shore hardness in a durable, surface-hugging urethane).

This soft inner band of the wheel is the red urethane ring shown in the picture on top. Inside the latest turbo® series wheels this ring is larger than before. The larger ring offers even more grip in combination with a better roll due to the harder outer durometer (87+A shore). The abrasion resistance has improved again which makes especially the RoadWar turbo® series last even longer than before.
The M-tech™ ring inslide and MPC wheel.
1. The MPC turbine hub unique tristed spokes for airflow and flex control
2. M-tech™ high-rebound inner ring locked onto the turbine hub.
3. High performance out urethane poured and bonded to the turbine hub & inner ring.

The inner band goes around the Turbine Hub, which is itself unique for its twisted spokes. Each of the hub’s 9 spokes ‘twists’ its way between the bearing core and the outer rim of the hub. This twist in each spoke allows side load (the type applied by the skater through corners) to deform the hub slightly, adding to the potential footprint being applied by each wheel on the surface. In short – giving you more grip.

The turbo® hub has thicker spokers that make the hub stiffer and stronger. This offers more stability and control at high speed corners. Around the hub and the inner band, the outer urethane is poured and chemically bonded. No traditional physical interlock is necessary to bind hub with tire, and in fact, this lack of physical interlock contributes to the ‘footprint enlarging‘ characteristics of a number of MPC wheels.
The new turbo® series come in 3 different durometers in order to offer the best setup for every individual skater on any possible road or track surface. The RoadWar F numbers are softer wheels with a 83A shore outer layer. The XF series have a 85A outer and the XXF series 87A. Therefore RoadWar turbo®-XXF should be compared to the previous XF and new RoadWar turbo®-XF with the previous red colured Firm wheels.
The BlackTrack turbo® series are known to have the most grippy compound out of all inlline speedskating wheels. The MPC BlackTracks are most popular among sprinters that look for maximum grip to push hard. Thanks to the larger inner band MPC, could improve the roll of the BlackTrack turbo® wheels significantly by pouring the XXF series in a 90A shore durometer. These wheels are simply the best on every track with cement suface.
Footprint enlarging: When the wheel is exposed to cornering pressure, controlled deformation occurs to enlarge the 'footprint' - or the area and shape of urethane in contact with the skating surface: giving you more grip.
